The menstrual cycle is a natural phenomenon in a woman. It occurs monthly and lasts for 28 days on average. Some women may have a menstrual cycle that lasts for as little as 21 days while others can have it as high as 35 days. The average range for the menstrual cycle is 21-35 days.

A woman with a 28-day cycle that is regular will probably ovulate on the 14th day. Yellow or brown mucus discharge are signs of pregnancy. Your safe period continues after the fertile days until your period starts, and the cycle repeats itself.
